UX Researcher
The job
Are you someone who enjoys gaining deep insights into the user experience? Do you like translating these insights into innovative solutions? At Pàu, as a UX Researcher, you’ll have the opportunity to shape digital products based on real user insights — not gut feeling, but data, empathy, and experience.
In this role, you are responsible for setting up and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. You translate complex findings into clear insights and concrete design decisions. You work closely with UX Designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that products are both user-friendly and effective. With your impact, you transform users into fans and products into success stories.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as product development, psychology, or social sciences — the perfect foundation for sharp UX insight.
- With over 3 years of experience as a UX researcher, you’ve built a solid portfolio and know how to make research have a tangible impact.
- You have a customer-focused mindset and aren’t afraid to ask critical questions. You take initiative and guide clients toward the most user-friendly and effective solutions.
- Growth is in your DNA — and in ours: At Pàu, we strongly believe in personal development. You’re in the driver’s seat of your career, and we support you with training, coaching, and advancement opportunities tailored to your ambitions.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge: Whether it’s through internal workshops, inspiration sessions, or training — you like sharing your expertise and helping your colleagues grow along with you.
- You take ownership and show initiative: New ideas, fresh methods, or innovative solutions? You proactively seek out new opportunities to make Pàu a stronger workplace.
- You’re location-flexible and ambition-driven: You work with clients across Flanders and Brussels. Always on projects that match your strengths and interests.
Core skills
- You’re a versatile researcher: You’re skilled in various qualitative and quantitative methods such as in-depth interviews, observations, focus groups, usability tests, and surveys. You choose the right approach to gain deep insights into user needs and behavior.
- Empathy is your second nature: With a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in how people interact with technology, you effortlessly put yourself in the users’ shoes.
- You think analytically and strategically: You can break down complex problems and turn them into focused research questions. From a wealth of data, you extract clear insights that guide design decisions.
- You communicate clearly and convincingly: Whether you’re talking to technical teams or non-technical stakeholders, you convey research findings in a clear and impactful way.
- You’re familiar with modern UX tools: You effectively use tools like Figma, Condens, and Airtable to plan, conduct, and analyze your research.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Agile/Scrum: Knowledge of these methodologies helps you collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
